Like us, you've probably found yourself with a bit of extra free-time to try new things while you wait to get back out in the world and travel again. Today we've put together a list of signature cocktails from around the world that will have you transported from your kitchen to an tropical island, Irish Pub, or the Mediterranean seaside in no time.

1. Signature Cocktail from Italy — Aperol Spritz

This simple but delicious cocktail is famous in Italy, and enjoyed especially during the classic aperitivo time. The ingredients consist of prosecco, aperol, soda water, ice, and slices of orange! Check out the recipe HERE.

  • 1 , bottle of chilled Prosecco
  • 1 , bottle of Aperol
  • Soda, served from a syphon or chilled bottle
  • Ice cubes
  • Slices of orange

2. Signature Cocktail from Ireland — Irish Coffee

Typically served as a winter cocktail, an Irish coffee is created from combining coffee, Irish whiskey, sugar and whipped cream. Not a bad way to spike your morning java juice, while you're stuck at home! Check out the recipe HERE.

  • 6 oz freshly brewed coffee
  • 1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey
  • 1 teaspoon coconut sugar (or other sweetener)

3. Signature Cocktail from Singapore — Singapore Sling

For this one, you'll have to get a bit creative. There is an existing, ongoing debate for exactly which Singapore Sling recipe is correct... however, regardless of the technique, this beloved cocktail remains a classic favorite, consisting of gin, lime juice, simple syrup, club soda, and Benedictine.   • 1 1/2 ounces gin
  • 1 ounce Benedictine
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 1/4 ounce simple syrup
  • 2 ounces club soda

4. Signature Cocktail from Spain — Sangria

It's hard to imagine Spain without craving some authentic paella and house-made sangria! This wine-based cocktail can be created in a large batch, and stored overnight in the fridge for the best results. Check out the recipe HERE.

  • 1 bottle Spanish red wine
  • 1/4 cup Grand Marnier or Cointreau
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 piece of your favorite fruit, sliced

5. Signature Cocktail from Cuba — Mojito

This popular cocktail originates from Cuba and is created by muddling mint, rum, and simple syrup into a cool, refreshing drink. You can swap out the soda water for tonic, for a more bitter taste depending on your preference. Check out the recipe HERE.

  • ½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1½ tsp Simple Syrup
  • 8-10 Mint Leaves

6. Signature Cocktail from Puerto Rico — Piña Colada

Nothing will make you feel closer to the beach than sipping on a fresh piña colada (blended or shaken—your choice!). Maybe even have the sound of the ocean playing in the background, for an extra relaxed vibe.   • 1 ounce pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce cream of coconut
  • 1/4 ounce lime juice (fresh)
  • 1 1/2 cups ice

7. Signature Cocktail from Brazil — Caipirinha

A Caipirinha (pronounced Kai-pee-reen-ya) is a famous Brazilian drink that has a sweet, lime flavor with a grassy aftertaste. This cocktail is simple to make (only 3 main ingredients required) and it very refreshing to sip on whether you are at the beach, or just dreaming to be on one. Check out the recipe HERE.

What you'll need:

  • 1-2 limes sliced in half lengthwise and the pith removed, can be cut in quarters after the pith is removed
  • 1-2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 ounces of cachaca
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice - optional
  • Crushed ice
