How to Score V-Day Freebies in US Airports this Week:

Whether you have someone special this year or are flying solo, Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to score some freebies (in more ways than one...). Throughout this week, several airports are giving away free, love-themed goodies to passengers on flights and in airports across the country. We’ve rounded up some of our favorites for you to check out in case you happen to be traveling through.

1. Pop-Up Marriage License Office at the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada (LAS)

Due to the large number of couples getting married in Las Vegas, the Clark County clerk's office decided to help lovers say "I do" even more conveniently, by setting up a marriage license office in McCarran's Terminal 1 near baggage claim. These licenses run for $77, and you can speed up the process by filling out a pre-application online.

2. Grab a Free Drink from Southwest Airlines

Every year on specific dates the "LUV" airline likes to treat its passengers (21 years & older) with free alcoholic drinks onboard, and Valentine's Day is one of them! In addition to this, they will also be handing out other in-flight surprise treats throughout the day.

3. Free Flowers at the Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) and the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

Passengers roaming around these airports on Valentine's Day will receive a free carnation while supplies last.

4. Live Music, Chocolate, and V-Day Crafts at the Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL)

It would be quite ironic if the Love Field airport didn't live up to its name on the #1 day of romance. Throughout this week, live music, free chocolate and V-Day craft activities can be found at the airport for their annual "Random Acts of Love Week".

5. Puppies, Puppies, Puppies! At the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX)

Last but not least (and arguably the most important), for an entire month, the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport will be bringing in therapy dogs for passengers to pet and share the love with. The Navigator Buddies program is encouraging people to take a selfie with the pups and upload them with the hashtag #PupsNKissesPHX.
