Have you heard of a micro-house before? It's pretty much exactly what the name implies. In recent years, a movement has emerged that is committed to living with what is fair and necessary but also not limiting itself to living in the same place and taking your house with you.
Ikea has joined this idea in collaboration with Vox Creative and American RV, a company dedicated to the manufacture of this type of micro-houses. Together they have jointly designed an ecological version that includes, among many other things, solar panels and a compostable toilet.
The project is called "Tiny Home Project".

The size of the house is surprising, only 182 square feet, and was designed by Abbey Stark, Senior Leader of Interior Design at Ikea USA. It uses sustainable materials, and small energy-efficient appliances such as induction hobs and starter faucets cold, which avoids wasting additional energy.

As you can see in the photos, the furniture all belongs to the Ikea catalog, from the Kungsbacka kitchen series to the Norden folding table, designed as a work table, dining room, or even storage.

At first, the idea was to tour all of the United States but due to the pandemic, it has been converted into a totally different experience.
