Great news, Pirates! On January 1st, Curaçao opened to all American travelers. The island had previously been only open to Americans from the Tri-State area, but now welcomes travelers from all US states.
You can fly nonstop from Newark Liberty International Airport, JFK International, and Miami International Airport.
If you plan on visiting the beautiful island, you need to fill out an online digital immigration card before your departure, complete a Passenger Locator Card within 48 hours of departure and carry a printed document of proof with you when you fly, upload proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result within 72 hours of traveling and present a printed copy upon arrival.
In order to keep things safe, the island has put in place new health and safety measures which includes the Dushi Stay app. The app updates visitors with entry requirements and island-wide protocols, as well as informs them which restaurants, attractions, and beaches are open. That way you can still enjoy Curaçao's international cuisine scene and white sand beaches. To learn more, visit the Curaçao Tourist Board.
