Perhaps a near-future cruise vacation may seem a bit off-putting to you (we get it), but with sailing dates starting in 2022, this four-month global excursion sounds pretty intriguing. Passengers who book the 118-day voyage around the world will have the opportunity to visit sixteen countries in total on the famous Queen Mary 2. The cruise ship will depart from New York City on January 3, 2022 and will make its way around the world, stopping in beloved destinations like Seville, Spain, Athens, Greece, Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Sydney, Australia.
Throughout the world-tour, riders will be granted access to visit 33 UNESCO World Heritage Sites before returning to NYC on May 1, 2022.
The 1,132-foot-long ship can accommodate up to 2,691 guests along the way and will even allow pets onboard.
Tickets range from $15,149 to $72,899 per person, with an additional $1710.74 for taxes and fees. The cost of this globe-trotting journey paid in full may seem pricey upfront, but when broken down, it starts at about $1050 per week. Staying a week in just one of these destinations could easily rack up to that amount, plus with this cruise, you'll have a full itinerary, transportation, and room and board taken care of. Not too shabby for a once-in-a-lifetime trip around the world.
