Attention singles—it's never too late to lock in your winter romance. For those who haven't heard, cuffing season refers to the winter phenomenon when single people suddenly have the desire to get "cuffed," AKA enter into a committed relationship.
For those of you who've found your fall/winter fling, we're here to tell you there's no reason to limit yourselves to your apartment all winter. We've found five perfect travel destinations to visit with your partner and fully embrace cuffing season. Think heated treehouses, spa resorts, and cozy lodges—places where you won't even feel bad about staying in bed all day.
1. Quebec City, Canada
This charming Canadian city has the distinct feel of a French village. It's the perfect place to escape with your partner and stroll around the snow-covered cobblestone streets of the historic old town.
If you're looking to travel later on in the winter, don't fret—there are plenty of cozy cafes and winter events waiting for you. Quebec's Winter Carnival is held in mid-February and is the perfect place to bundle up with some hot cocoa and take in the parades and snow sculptures.
Where To Stay:
You'll find complimentary lattes, snacks, and treats in the hotel's living room. The hotel offers guests a selection of over 700 DVD's that you can watch from your comfy pillow top mattress. And the best part? All superior and deluxe rooms have their very own fireplaces. We think it's an excellent upgrade on your usual cuffing season movie binge.
2. Aspen, Colorado
This legendary ski destination certainly lives up to the hype. Of course, you can find world-class winter sports on Aspen's four main mountains, but the town also has a lot more to it than meets the eye.
Aspen isn't just an upscale destination—it has become a hub for arts and culture. Be sure to check the schedule at Belly Up, a concert venue hosting well-known acts from all over the world.
The quaint downtown area is full of boutiques, restaurants, and pubs, all perfect to cozy up with your partner and unwind after a day outside. Aspen truly takes aprés ski culture to a whole new level. And honestly, aprés ski culture is basically made for cuffing season.
Where To Stay:
Okay so it's no secret that Aspen can get pricey—but it doesn't have to be! We've decided to give you two accommodation options: a budget-friendly B&B and an all-out luxury resort.
If you're looking for something in the $100's range, we love the Annabelle Inn. It's rated 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor with a Certificate of Excellence, and features breakfast, a cozy lounge complete with a fireplace, and two outdoor jacuzzis. Plus, this European ski lodge-style B&B is located in the heart of downtown Aspen.
If you're looking to splurge on bucket list luxury, we recommend the St. Regis Aspen Resort. Here you'll find sophisticated rooms, multiple restaurants and social clubs, three hot tubs, and a heated pool—all located at the base of Aspen Mountain. It's no surprise this 4.5-star resort received the Certificate of Excellence on TripAdvisor. This St. Regis may start in the $400's, but we think it would be worth the splurge for an extra special winter getaway with your beau.

3. Lapland, Finland
Walk through dream-like snowy landscapes, go skiing or snowmobiling, meet some real reindeer, and visit Santa Claus Village. The cherry on top of this bucket list destination? Lapland is one of the best places in the world to view the northern lights.
Where To Stay:
Lapland has tons of wonderful winter accommodation options. Our favorite has to be the Arctic TreeHouse Hotel—a one-of-a-kind resort located in the Arctic Circle, in the charming town of Rovaniemi. This top-rated resort features accommodation units with floor-to-ceiling glass windows with unbelievable views. The ecologically-driven resort even limits light pollution so guests will have the best possible views of the northern lights from their cozy rooms.
If you can motivate yourself to leave your glass house, you'll find a welcoming resort lounge (with a fireplace, of course) and an inviting restaurant providing your complimentary breakfast buffet. A treehouse suite at this resort may start in the $600's, but we think this experience is well worth it.

4. Berkshires, Massachusetts
If you're looking for the classic winter getaway, you've come to the right place. The Berkshires are consistently rated as one of the most romantic destinations in the U.S., perfect for a cuffing season escape. This area in Western Massachusetts is home to top-notch skiing, prestigious art galleries, farm-to-table restaurants, and charming New England architecture.
The Berkshires also have the added benefit of being in easy driving distance of major cities like Boston and New York, so you can spend the money you've saved on airfare to splurge on luxe accommodations.
Where To Stay:
Speaking of splurging, we can't get over how beautiful the Blantyre Resort is. You'll feel like royalty in this famous resort in Lenox, MA, rated 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor. This renovated historic mansion provides luxurious accommodations, a full spa, and three elegant restaurants. We think it's the perfect place to get the full romantic Berkshires experience over a weekend getaway.
A night at the Blantyre starts around $400, but we think the splurge is worth the fairytale romance factor. And hey, you'll have the rest of the winter to save up with your fling!

This Eastern European hotspot has it all. From historical sites to thermal springs to unbelievable nightlife. Spend a day at the famous Szechenyi Baths, where you can relax in thermal pools and saunas, then cozy up at a Hungarian cafe for some traditional Goulash soup. Finish the night off by admiring Budapest’s grand architecture on a river cruise on the Danube.
